Ian completed his schooling at Kearsney College and thereafter obtained B.SocSci and LLB degrees from the University of Kwazulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg.
He commenced articles at Tomlinson Mnguni James Inc in 2007 and after completing his articles was promoted to an associate within the firm. Ian was a director of Tomlinson Mnguni James for 7 years heading up their large and successful Road Accident Fund practice.
Ian’s interests lie in litigation and he has the ability to resolve complicated litigious matters through common sense and a practical knowledge of the law. He has experience in the High Court of South Africa, various Magistrate’s Courts around Kwazulu-Natal as well as in the Land Claims Court in Randburg and has represented many individuals and companies in these forums throughout his career. With 12 years post-admission experience, Ian is able to assist clients with any litigious matter.
